A cornerstone of the Haida Gwaii Media Collective is the inclusion of a cultural advisory board who will review proposed media projects that are facilitated through the HGMC, whether that’s a local production that is being supported, or an off-island production that would like to shoot on Haida Gwaii.

The cultural advisory board will be comprised of locals from Haida Gwaii with the mission to preserve the integrity of the Haida and island culture, to inform and to make sure that the process is done respectfully and never misrepresents who we are.
