  • Julia Weder

    Julia plays music, coordinates programming at Hiit'aGan.iina Kuuyas Naay Skidegate Youth Centre, and supports Tllgaay Kuuyada, a teen social justice group. She was raised as a guest on Haida territory, in Daajing Giids Queen Charlotte, and is grateful to be back home after studying environmental biology.

    Julia is passionate about building young people's personal and political agency across Haida Gwaii.

  • Patrick Shannon

    Patrick Shannon, also known as Nang Ḵ‘uulas is an Indigenous film director, award-winning social entrepreneur, and university instructor from Haida Gwaii, Canada.

    Patrick’s work centres around social and cultural justice, and the elevation of marginalized voices through education, youth mentorship, media, and technology.

  • Brianna Julian

    Brianna is Nak’azdli from the Dakelh Nation. She was born and raised in the beautiful Coast Salish territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, commonly known today as Vancouver, BC.

    Brianna brings years of experience in business development and creative project management.

  • D'Leen Betts

    D'Leen (they/them) is a designer and mover based in Daajing Giids. D'Leen just finished up a Master's studying design and accessibility and now works with disability arts and dance organizations.

  • Emily Valente

    Emily (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist living in Daajing Giids. She facilitates programming at the Daajing Giids Youth Centre. Emily manages the equipment rental library and helps coordinate workshops for the Media Collective.
